The Seward Arts Council PRESENTS

The 2010 Seward Music & Arts Festival

Seward, AK – July 1, 2010 – The Seward Music and Arts Festival is thrilled to announce another musical extravaganza in the fall of 2010, with musicians and performers from all over the state along with artisan booths and food vendors.  The festival begins this year on Friday, September 24th and wraps up on Sunday, September 26th.  This event is an exciting capstone to the summer that appeals to Alaskans and remaining travelers alike.

Our festival remains committed to youth involvement, education, and creative inspiration, as well as a low environmental impact philosophy. The Seward Arts Council promotes a family friendly festival with children's activities and artist projects throughout the weekend, including a mural-in-a-day.

The festival is located at the Alaska Railroad Cruise Ship Terminal Dock Building—a heated indoor venue.  Visitors will enjoy a full food court, beer garden, and art show in addition to 20+ live musical acts and dance performances.  Musicians already slated to perform include Nervis Rex, Caine’s Head, Elite 9 Jazz, The Spenard Jazz Festival Ensemble, Los Gran Torinos, with many more to come.

.

Please join us for this exciting event!
